Counts are machine-classified candidates above our confidence thresholds, not confirmed discoveries — and archived nights are recomputed with today's classifiers, so history gets a little wiser than the live night. Gaps are weather, full moons, and telescope downtime. "Minutes of darkness" assumes ~8 observing hours a night.
